Arsenal are reportedly planning an approach to sign Lille midfielder Renato Sanches.
The Gunners are long-term admirers of the Portuguese, and they have been linked with him in recent transfer windows.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Sanches is likely to leave Lille this summer, having rejected a new contract beyond June 2023.
AC Milan are keen on pursuing his services, but they are set to face strong competition from the Gunners and Barcelona.
Sanches was valued at around £40m last summer, but he could be available for just £25m when the transfer window reopens.
The 24-year-old had a tough career at Bayern Munich, but he has redeemed himself at Lille with consistent midfield displays.
He has excelled with his dribbling and ability to find key passes, but there remains a weakness when it comes to tackling.
However, the main cause of concern could be his fitness. He has failed to stay injury free over the course of a campaign.
