Serie A giants Roma have emerged as potential contenders to sign out-of-favour Chelsea forward Charly Musonda this summer.
Musonda made his Blues debut in 2016, but has since managed just six competitive appearances across all competitions.
The Belgian has suffered long-term injuries along the way, but could be handed a chance to revive his career with the Giallorossi.
Jose Mourinho was the manager at Chelsea when Musonda was in the academy, and should have knowledge over him.
The 25-year-old will be available on a free transfer this summer as his Blues contract will expire at the end of the campaign.
Roma seem the leading candidates to land his services, but could face competition from Serie A rivals Hellas Verona.
Musonda has played just two Premier League 2 games this term despite being fit for the entirety of the ongoing campaign.
The Blues are clearly focused on developing their young academy graduates rather than aiding the career revival of Musonda.
