Serbia U21 0-3 England U21

England's U-21 side romped to a 3-0 victory in a great start to their U-21 2009 European Championships qualifying tournament. Goals were scored by Man City's Onuoha, Aston Villa's Agbonlahor and Southampton's Surman.

  • Agbonlahor had his commitment questioned in the summer when his missed the Euro finals after the Football Association could not contact him to confirm his call-up, but he now has two goals in two games since his return.



    Agbonlahor continued his impressive form after netting for his club Aston Villa vs. Chelsea last weekend.



    James Milner set a record for Under-21 caps, beating Scott Carson's 29, and the Newcastle midfielder started the move for the opener by swinging a quickly taken corner to the back post.



    Team captain Steven Taylor of Newcastle put on a sterling performance despite recent wranglings with his club Newcastle over his contract.
