Ralf Rangnick praises Man Utd trio ahead of Leicester clash

Manchester United's interim boss Ralf Rangnick has heaped praise on Fred, Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire ahead of Saturday's Premier League meeting against Leicester City.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The Red Devils are currently sixth in the league standings with 50 points, four behind fourth-placed Arsenal, who have a game in hand.

Hence, they are already playing catch-up in the Champions League pursuit, and can not afford to drop more points against the Foxes.

Ahead of the game, Rangnick has spoken positively about Maguire, who was the subject of boos from England supporters earlier this week.

Meanwhile, the German tactician also highlighted Fred and Scott McTominay, and said that the trio are 'important players'.

He added that they are players with the 'right attitude', and do not deserve the criticism that has been coming their way over the season.

The trio are expected to start against the Foxes tomorrow. It remains to be seen whether they can repay Rangnick's faith with strong displays.
