Manchester United could reportedly look to sign Christian Eriksen when his Brentford deal expires this summer.
The Dane had a cardiac arrest on international duty last summer, and it seemed that his career may come to an abrupt end.
However. he managed to make a comeback. He joined the Bees in January, having agreed a mutual release from Inter.
Eriksen has since registered one goal and one assist from four appearances while also excelling for the national team.
He recently scored in both friendlies for Denmark, and it will be intriguing to see where his future lies next campaign.
The Bees are open to negotiating a renewal, but United are prepared to pounce if he is eyeing a bigger challenge.
United have been long-term admirers of Eriksen, and they were looking to sign him before he joined Inter from Spurs.
They appear to have revived their pursuit, but could face competition from Spurs, who are now open to re-signing him.
