Manchester United are prepared to back Erik ten Hag with a significant transfer budget this summer, Standard Sport claims.
The Red Devils are currently languishing in the sixth spot on the table, and they could miss out on the Champions League.
Irrespective of this, it could be a busy summer ahead for the club with the next manager expected to be backed with funds.
It is widely known that Ten Hag will take the hot seat, but he is also likely to have extra authority over the transfer dealings.
Over the past nine years, the Red Devils board have been primarily responsible for identifying targets and pursuing them.
However, things could be a lot different under ten Hag. The Dutchman will be presented with the shortlist of targets this summer.
He will have the authority to decline any of the names while also being able to suggest suitable targets for the club to negotiate for.
