Chelsea could reportedly swap Jorginho for Juventus defender Merih Demiral this summer.
The Blues are expected to sign at least two new centre-backs, and they have already been linked with numerous names.
According to Calciomercatoweb, Demiral has now emerged as the new target, and it is suggested that he could be signed in a swap deal.
The Bianconeri have been long-term admirers of midfielder Jorginho, and they are willing to sign him in a straight exchange for Demiral.
Demiral spent last season on loan with Atalanta, but they decided against signing him permanently after a rift with the manager.
The Blues have been linked with him in the past, and it remains to be seen whether they are interested in negotiating the swap.
Jorginho showed signs of regression last season. The Blues have a big decision to make over his future in the coming weeks.
His current contract expires in 12 months' time, and so far, there has been no progress over a possible renewal beyond that period.
