Arsenal wonderkid poised to start vs Fleetwood

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta looks poised to unleash Max Dowman on the right wing during tomorrow's Carabao Cup fourth-round tie against Fleetwood Town on the road.

The Gunners take on the League Two side in a much-anticipated encounter. They will be clear-cut favourites irrespective of the changes Arteta makes.

Dowman is one of those expected to feature from the off and he should relish the challenge, having been a regular substitute ever since the last round.

The 16-year-old scored two goals in an impressive 4-2 win over Ipswich Town in the third round, but has barely got off the bench for the club since.

He will no doubt get another opportunity against Fleetwood, who will be hoping to cause an upset after beating Sheffield United last time around.

Fleetwood are languishing close to the drop zone in League Two, but Arsenal can't take things for granted and must turn up with a strong performance to progress further in the competition.
