Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain, journalist Ekrem Konur claims.
The 30-year-old has spent the last five seasons in Paris, but there are suggestions that he could leave the club this summer.
While his agent has dismissed the possibility, there are rumours that Les Parisiens may need to sell him due to FFP restrictions.
Chelsea have been linked with him in the past and Konur cites that they could compete with Juventus for his services this summer.
However, the Blues could have a big advantage, considering the Bianconeri have introduced a self-imposed salary cap since last year.
They are reluctant to hand salaries of more than €7 million per year net for new players, and Neymar is unlikely to accept such a proposal.
Chelsea, on the other hand, are capable of offering big salaries. Romelu Lukaku is currently on a wage package of around €375,000-a-week.
The Blues are eyeing two forwards this summer. They are currently in advanced talks to sign Raheem Sterling from Manchester City.
