Arsenal are very interested in signing Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo, having missed out on him in January.
The Gunners were keen on landing the Brazilian during the winter transfer window, but failed to negotiate a suitable deal.
They were eyeing a six-month loan move, but Juventus were adamant on an 18-month loan with an option to buy for €40m.
According to Calciomercato, it is now reported that the Gunners are back in the hunt for Arthur, but are yet to make an approach.
Arsenal are assessing their midfield targets at the moment. Youri Tielemans has been linked, but a deal is far from happening.
The Belgian has entered the final year of his contract at Leicester City, but the Foxes still want around £35m for his services.
This has put the Gunners off from signing him, and Arthur could be a possible alternative for them in the coming weeks.
Arsenal may attempt to sign him on a season-long loan this time.
