Manchester United are prepared to make an approach for Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries this summer.
The Red Devils currently have Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka as the regular right-backs, but the latter is free to leave the club.
United are open to selling or loaning him out, and his departure could pave the way for the arrival of Dumfries from the Nerazzurri.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Dumfries has been earmarked as the perfect fit for United because of his 'timing and physicality'.
Furthermore, Erik ten Hag has been keeping a close eye on his progress from his PSV days, and an offer appears on the horizon.
Dumfries was signed by the Nerazzurri from PSV for just €15m last summer, and the Serie A side are willing to sell him for €40m.
Whether United pay the fee remains to be seen. He would be an excellent acquisition with his creativity from the right side of the defence.
He bagged five goals and seven assists from 45 games for Inter last term.
