Manchester United are prepared to make a renewed attempt to sign Bologna striker Marko Arnautovic this summer.
The Red Devils made an opening bid of €9 million for the Austrian on Sunday, but the offer was deemed insufficient.
Despite this, United are not prepared to give up, and Gianluca Di Marzio confirms an improved offer is on the way.
Arnautovic is already 33 years of age, but United still believe he is the right profile of player for manager Erik ten Hag.
The Austrian is decent with his ball control and pace on the counter-attack, and he is being considered as a back-up.
Arnautovic has already given the green light for the move, and reports claim that a transfer request has been handed in.
United still need to reach an agreement with Bologna. The Serie A outfit want at least €15m to sell their star man.
The news has not gone well with many of the fans, who believe the club lack vision with the pursuit of Arnautovic.
