Manchester United are prepared to open negotiations over a new contract with Marcus Rashford.
The England star had a poor 2021/22 season, registering just four goals and two assists from 25 league appearances.
However, he has redeemed himself this campaign with three goals and two assists from just six league appearances.
Amidst his glowing form under Erik ten Hag, reports claim that United are now planning to discuss a new contract.
Rashford's current deal with the club expires in June 2023, but the hierarchy have the option to extend for 12 months.
Hence, United have time on their hands to negotiate a fresh deal, but seem to be intent on doing so at the earliest possibility.
Meanwhile, Rashford's recent transformation has led to suggestions that he could make a comeback into the England squad.
With the World Cup in November this year, he still has a realistic chance of making the cut if he can sustain his current form.
