Cuellar eyes Rangers stay

05 May 2008 - 09:17

Rangers defender Carlos Cuellar has revealed that he fully intends to stay at the club for the long term despite interest from several Premiership clubs.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The SPL Player of the Year said: "I have settled quickly and that's because I came to Scotland with a desire to do well.

"I am happy at Rangers and have a contract until summer 2011.

"I know there has been talk about clubs being interested in me and a lot of money has been mentioned but that is out of my control.

"My only thought is about trying to win our next game. We have a busy period coming up and need to focus to win the SPL."
