AC Milan and Barcelona are set to go head-to-head to sign Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, according to Sport.
The Italian midfielder has been with the west London giants since the summer of 2018, but he could leave on a free transfer soon.
His current deal expires in June next year and talks over a renewal have stalled at the current point due to his ongoing wage demands.
Jorginho is said to be eyeing £150,000-a-week to extend his stay, but the Blues are reluctant to improve on his current £120,000 terms.
This has reportedly led to an impasse and according to Sport, this could be advantageous for the likes of Barcelona as well as AC Milan.
Both clubs have been long-term admirers of the Italian star and they will be free to discuss personal terms over a pre-contract from January.
Among the duo, the Catalan giants could be the front-runners to sign him, having met his representative on multiple occasions last month.
