Manchester United and Liverpool have the opportunity to land Atletico Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente in January.
Llorente has been a key player for the Spanish giants over the past few years, but he could be sold in the near future.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Atletico were already facing a deficit of €40m last summer and the losses have increased.
With the failure to make the last 16 of the Champions League, the La Liga outfit are set to face further losses of €30m.
As a result, they need to sell players to balance their books and Llorente is said to be dispensable amid his reduced game time.
He has been in-and-out of the line-up due to injuries over the past 18 months and is currently out of action with a calf problem.
United and Liverpool were interested in signing him in the past, and it is claimed that he could be available for €40m in January.
Arsenal have also been linked with the versatile midfielder previously.
