Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Jadon Sancho and Antony are doubtful to face Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup third round.
Sancho has been ruled out for the past few games with an illness while Antony has been sidelined for the same period with a hip issue.
Ten Hag has now revealed that the duo are still doubtful to face the Villans and a decision will be made based on today's training session.
Among the two, Sancho seems most likely to make the squad. Antony could be handled with extra caution with the World Cup coming up.
The Brazilian has been nursing a hip problem and reports elsewhere claim that he may not feature for United before the World Cup hiatus.
United will be aiming to take revenge on Villa tomorrow after being thoroughly beaten (3-1) in the Premier League at Villa Park on Sunday.
Ten Hag has made it clear that he will pick a strong starting line-up.
