Real Madrid are plotting a shock approach to sign Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes, as per Record.
The European champions were interested in the 28-year-old when he was with Sporting, but the Red Devils won the race to sign him.
Fernandes has been a superb performer for the Premier League giants since, but he recently penned a new long-term contract.
Despite this, there is speculation that over the midfielder\'s future and it is claimed that Madrid could make a fresh move for him.
It is added that Fernandes is completely satisfied at Old Trafford, but has not ruled out a step forward in the prime of his career.
Fernandes has had a superb World Cup for Portugal with four contributions and he will be key for them in the knock-out phase.
United have no plans of parting ways with him at the moment and a future exit is unlikely unless he pushes for a way out of the club.
