Manchester United have no interest in signing Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata in the New Year, as per Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils are desperately searching for a new striker in January and it has been suggested that they could sign someone on loan.
Morata is a name that has been regularly linked with them, but Romano has clarified that United are not looking at the Spaniard.
The Red Devils have a good relationship with Atletico, but Morata is not a player under discussion at the current point of time.
United are currently looking at various options for the transfer window. They are reluctant to spend big due to FFP concerns.
Hence, a loan signing could be a realistic possibility for the New Year, though that may depend on finding the right player.
The Red Devils are not looking for a stop-gap option and prefer to land a marquee player, who can join them permanently next summer.
