Chelsea have been handed a fresh boost in signing AC Milan star Rafael Leao during the January transfer window.
The Blues have already reached an agreement to sign RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku, but he will only join them next summer.
The club are also on the search for a new forward in January and reports claim that Leao is one of the top names on their transfer wishlist.
They were unsuccessful in signing the Portuguese in the closing stages of the summer transfer window, but have been handed a fresh boost.
Leao has yet to accept Milan's contract proposal on the table and this could force the Rossoneri to consider his departure at the turn of the year.
The forward will enter the final 18 months of his contract in January and it is claimed that he could be available for a fee of around €100 million.
Chelsea are said to be evaluating their budget for January but it seems likely that they will make a fresh approach for the 23-year-old star.
