Ajax open Huntelaar bidding

Ajax have announced that over the summer there was interest in Dutch international striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and in January they are fully expecting offers for the ex-Heerenveen player. Man City and Man Utd are among the clubs interested.

Huntelaar has been likened to former United star Ruud van Nistelrooy and it his physical presence, as much as his prolific scoring record, which is attracting both Manchester clubs.



Man City and Man Utd both hold an interest in the player, and a fee of £18m has already been suggested.
