Ricardo Carvalho is an early worry for Avram Grant ahead of Chelsea's crunch match in the Premiership on Sunday against Bolton Wanderers. Carvalho picked up the injury against Newcastle on Monday.
It seems that the Portuguese defender has become a concern after twice landing heavily and has been undergoing treatment this week.
Grant is hoping to partner Carvalho with John Terry at the weekend, but it looks like Alex is being lined up to replace the defender.
