Hamburg want Martin Jol

08 May 2008 - 14:00

Reports in Germany have indicated that Martin Jol is being considered as the replacement for outgoing Huub Stevens for Hamburg SV in the summer. It seems that the Germans have decided to stick with a Dutchman in charge.

  • Man Utd star to sign new contract in next 24 hours
  • Napoli & Atletico want to sign Man Utd star for £24m
  • The former Tottenham coach has been on the look out for work since being sacked by Spurs last year.

Club chairman Horst Becker has told the Welt newspaper that he expects to have talks with Martin Jol on Tuesday.

Huub Stevens is to leave Hamburg in the summer and is heading for PSV Eindhoven.
