Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie has denied rumours that Sol Campbell will soon be leaving the club, with Villarreal listed as a possible destination for the former England defender.
Storrie said: "Sol is happy at Portsmouth and has another year left on his contract. He is concentrating on leading the team out at Wembley in the FA Cup final on Saturday week and looking forward to the challenge of the UEFA Cup next season if we beat Cardiff.
"Newspaper reports which emanated from Portugal are totally inaccurate and without any substance. No-one at the club has at any time suggested that this will be Sol's last season with us and it is the policy of the club not to speculate on any transfer activity."
