Ramos on Berbatov rumour

Ramos on Berbatov rumour

08 May 2008 - 16:57

Juande Ramos has refused to be drawn on rumours that Dimitar Berbatov will be leaving the club at the end of the season, instead insisting that the club would like to hang on to the Bulgarian and that if he has to leave - with AC Milan among his potential suitors - a suitable successor will be brought in.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • "It is the end of the season so you get lots of stories and speculation about which players are going from clubs and which players are coming," Ramos told Sky Sports News.

"The reality is this: Berbatov is with us at the moment and we are going to enjoy having him with us.

"If he goes, we will have to look for a replacement for him but if not he will be here."
