Manchester United have identified Napoli striker Victor Osimhen as their dream signing for the January transfer window.
The Red Devils have not made any permanent signings this month and they are likely to wait until the summer for another big spending spree.
Osimhen has been on their transfer radar for some time and Il Messaggero report that he is the priority target for Erik ten Hag.
The Nigerian star has been in tremendous form for the Naples outfit this term, bagging 14 goals and four assists from 19 matches.
He has impressed with his strong physical presence and excellent finishing ability and has the traits to succeed in English football.
The major stumbling block could, however, be the asking price. Napoli are set to hold out fo a staggering €150m to sanction his sale.
They are unlikely to provide any discounts in the summer and the onus is on United's hierarchy to meet their transfer valuation for him.
