Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was full of praise for Gabriel Martinelli following his winning strike against Leicester City.
The Brazilian was recently dropped to the bench in the 4-2 win over Aston Villa, but made amends with a late stoppage time goal.
Hence, he was reinstated into the starting XI against the Foxes and he made the difference with the winning goal in the 46th minute.
It was a composed finish into the far corner from the Brazilian and following the game, Arteta was delighted with his performance.
He said: "It was really important for him as well, sometimes you have to give someone a breather to come back with more enthusiasm and more energy, he contributed with a fantastic goal that gives us the win."
Martinelli has now scored in back-to-back games for the Gunners and he should be a confirmed starter against Everton in midweek.
The Gunners have the opportunity to go five points clear at the top of the Premier League if they manage to beat the Toffees at home.
