Manchester United have made contact with the agent of Sporting Lisbon star Goncalo Inacio, as per Record.
The Red Devils have been long-term admirers of the Portugal international and they have watched him regularly.
It is now reported that they are in discussions with his representative ahead of a potential transfer this summer.
Inacio is a talented ball-playing defender and he could be a quality deputy for Lisandro Martinez going forward.
Similar to Martinez, he is left foot dominant. He possesses a good physical presence and likes to engage opponents.
He would be a smart signing for the club, considering he has a low release clause of €40 million in his contract.
