Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has heaped praise on Raheem Sterling following the 2-2 Premier League draw against Nottingham Forest.
The Blues played out an entertaining stalemate at Stamford Bridge today and Sterling was the stand-out star for the Blues with a brace.
Speaking after the game, Lampard was delighted with the performance of Sterling, who proved his credentials with two vital goals.
He said: "Raheem has done it and he produced it again, but if you are going to win games when you have 76 per cent possession, you need to be killers at the top end of the pitch. Raheem has proven to be that."
Sterling has had a difficult debut season with the Blues but he will be aiming to end the campaign on a strong note with them.
Meanwhile, Chelsea remain 11th in the table despite the draw. They could end up finishing in the bottom half with the way things are going.
They are currently seven points behind Brentford for the 10th spot. With three games left, it seems unlikely that they will leapfrog them.
