Hodgson to buy some players

12 May 2008 - 12:51

Roy Hodgson has admitted he is delighted to have kept Fulham in the top flight, but is hoping to bring in a few players for next season. Fulham saved their best performances to the close season, and Hodgson is looking to build on his magnificent achievement.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • "We'll enjoy this result for a couple of days," said Hodgson. "But then we've got to get our feet back on the ground and start making certain that next season we've got a stronger platform so that we don't find ourselves from the outset fighting to get out of the bottom three.

"A lot of hard work needs to be done in the summer to make sure that platform is built."
