Guardiola praises Rijkaard

Future FC Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola has praised the current club coach Frank Rijkaard for his contribution to the club in the five years that the Dutchman has been in charge of the Catalan giants.

  • Guardiola was named last week as Barcelona’s head coach from next season. Frank Rijkaard shall leave the club at the end of the current campaign after leading the Blaugrana to two La Liga titles and one UEFA Champions League crowns in his five years at Camp Nou.



    Guardiola said:



    “He has been extraordinary in everything he has done. He is an example to us all."



    Pep Guardiola is a former Barcelona player and is currently the coach of the Barcelona B team. The 37-year old is considered as a legend in Catalonia.
