Chelsea have reportedly joined Arsenal in the race to sign Ajax attacker Mohammed Kudus this summer.
The Ghana international had a brilliant 2022/23 season with the Eredivisie outfit, scoring 18 goals and registering seven assists.
Arsenal recently communicated their interest in the forward, but The Athletic claim that the Blues have now entered the pursuit.
The west London giants have also expressed an interest in signing him, and they are currently close to agreeing personal terms.
Kudus started his Ajax career as a holding midfielder, but in the last 12 months, he has transformed into an out-and-out forward.
Last season, he predominantly played from the right wing for Ajax, but was also effective as a false number nine for the Dutch outfit.
Kudus would be a fantastic signing for the Blues, but they are bound to face fierce competition from Mikel Arteta's side as well.
While Chelsea are not in any European competition next term. Arsenal can offer him Champions League football in the coming season.
