Man Utd winger Nani was delighted to hear of his selection for the Euro 2008 squad, and promised that he will do everything he can to help lead Portugal to a successful tournament in Austria and Switzerland.
âMy objective is just to be part of the national squad and contribute to this team. The Portuguese people want titles and now is the time to give them one. The national team has a lot of talent and we will have a good showing.â
Nani has been a fringe player this season for Man Utd, but he has proved himself when given the opportunities. Nani is expected to shine in Euro 2008 if given the opportunity to play.
