Hull City have lined up a shock £1 million offer to tempt former Italian international striker Christian Vieri to the club. Phil Brown, City's boss, has long been an admirer of the Italian's talents and is set to make a shock move for the player.

Vieri has always been looking to try his luck in the Premier League, and if the rumours are true that Hull City will swoop for the player if they move up to the Premiership, this would be a notable coup for the club.



Vieri scored 103 goals in just 143 appearances for Inter Milan and played over 50 times for Italy.



Hull City are keen to add experience to their squad alongside current player Jay-Jay Okocha.
