Juventus snap up Schwarzer

13 May 2008 - 20:50

Juventus have reportedly completed a move for Middlesbrough's want away goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer. Juventus are in the market for a new backup goalkeeper in the summer.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • It is understood that Celtic and Bayern Munich are both in the market for Schwarzer, but Juventus have shocked everyone and made a swoop for the Australian international goalkeeper.

Current backup Juve goalkeeper Emanuele Belardi is reportedly on his way out of the club, and Juve are searching for a suitable backup for Gianluigi Buffon.
