Keegan: Martins not for sale

Kevin Keegan has warned Arsenal off talented forward Obafemi Martins. The Nigerian forward has been in good form during close season and rumours have emerged that the Gunners are lining up a £9 million offer for the player.

“Anyone that goes will be a bit of a blow, especially if something like that happens late on in the summer,” Keegan told the Newcastle Chronicle.



“However, Arsenal have definitely not approached me. I want to keep all my players and add to them if I can.”



Martins has always hinted that he may consider a move elsewhere, but Newcastle look reluctant to allow the player to leave.
