Man Utd interest in Miguel

Man Utd interest in Miguel

14 May 2008 - 15:38

After Man Utd missed out on the signature of Chelsea's new right back Jose Bosingwa, Sir Alex Ferguson has turned his attentions to Valencia full back Miguel. The Portuguese player is considering a move away from the Che.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Miguel is out of contract in 2012, so the player is expected to command a hefty fee if Valencia allow him to leave the club.

Spanish sources are quoting a figure in excess of £10 million for the full back.

Miguel admitted recently he would consider a move: “I am ambitious and if a good proposition is made, anything is possible.

    “The decision depends on Valencia.

“If the club accept my sale, no problems, and if the new (Valencia) coach relies on me, I stay.”
