Gourcuff looking for move home

Gourcuff looking for move home

15 May 2008 - 18:52

AC Milan midfielder Yoann Gourcuff still remains unconvinced he has a part to play in AC Milan's squad next season and is looking for a return to his homeland France as Lille and Lyon both consider a move for the player. Arsenal are also reportedly interested in the Frenchman.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Milan are believed to be reluctant to allow Gourcuff permanently unless the price is right.

"My father came to Milan and we discussed with the leaders. I do not want to endure a second season like this one. I want to play," he said.

"I am leaning towards a loan option. It is necessary that I find playing time with a good club. Why not a return to France? I won't close that door at all, but I have not had any contact for the moment.”
