Chelsea are planning a summer approach to sign Brighton & Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson.
The Blues have already done plenty of business with the Seagulls. Last summer, they signed Moises Caicedo from the South Coast outfit for a British record fee of £115 million.
Their good association could continue during this summer's transfer window with The Telegraph claiming that they have identified Ferguson as one of the top striker targets.
Ferguson put pen-to-paper on a new long-term deal earlier this season, but this has not stopped the speculation linking him with a move away from the Seagulls.
His progress is currently being monitored by many elite clubs in Europe, but Chelsea seem determined to leapfrog the queue by holding initial discussions.
Brighton have no plans of selling the striker this month, but a deal could materialise in the summer if they receive a package of around £100 million on the table.
Not many clubs can afford such a price, but Chelsea could be willing to pay the fee. The Blues have very high ambitions with their young squad in the coming years.
