Manchester United have their eyes on signing Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo at the end of the campaign.

The Uruguayan has been a key player in the heart of the defence for the Blaugrana, but he has been constantly linked with an exit.

The Catalan giants could be forced to sell him to balance their books and Sky Germany claim that United are one of his main admirers.

Araujo was previously on the club\'s radar at the start of 2022 but he ended up penning a new long-term contract with the Blaugrana.

United were once again linked with him last summer, but Araujo made it clear that he was fully committed to the Spanish champions.

However, there is a possibility that he could be forced out this summer. United are set to face competition from Bayern for his services.

Barcelona could be tempted to sell their prized asset if they receive a package of around €80 million at the end of the campaign.
