Roma's talented midfielder Daniele De Rossi has announced that he will be staying at the club. De Rossi has declared that he would, "stay at the club for life". His contract will last until 2012.
De Rossi has admitted that he has had opportunities to leave in the past, "I must say 2-3 years ago I did not see a future for myself at Roma. But now, what the club promised me back then they have maintained."
Man Utd were once linked with Italian international, but Roma will be thankful to keep one of their prize assets.
