Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that he is surprised by Arsenal's decision to loan out Albert Sambi Lokonga to Luton Town.
The Belgian joined the Hatters on a temporary deal last summer, but he picked up a hamstring injury within a few games.
He only made his comeback in December, but has since been a mainstay in the line-up, delivering several stand-out displays.
Speaking ahead of Liverpool's game against Luton, Klopp was surprised to see that the Gunners loaned him out to the Hatters.
He said: "[Albert Sambi] Lokonga when you see him playing, you think, 'Oh... he is an Arsenal player and they loaned him? Interesting."
Lokonga has recently revealed that he would like to revive his Arsenal career, but the final decision is likely to be left to the board.
With the need to recoup funds for a higher spending spree, the Gunners could decide to cash in on the Belgian during the summer.
