Manchester United are reportedly keen on landing the signature of Bologna defender Jhon Lucumi.
The Red Devils are likely to strengthen their central defensive options in the summer and there could be a couple of signings.
A new right-footed option could be signed with Raphael Varane set to leave on a free transfer when his contract expires (June).
The club could also search for a left-footed centre-back and AS claim that the hierarchy are said to be interested in Lucumi.
The Colombian ace is currently in his second year with Bologna where he has impressed with his pace, physicality and agility.
United scouts are reportedly surprised by his performances and the board could make a proposal to land him this summer.
He could be seen as a quality competitor to Lisandro Martinez, who has been hampered by several injuries at the club.
He has picked up two foot injuries since his move from Ajax and is currently on the sidelines with a knee problem.
