Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Christopher Nkunku will be out for a few weeks after picking up a hamstring injury.
The Frenchman has had an injury-plagued start to his Blues career, and he has already been on the sidelines on two separate occasions for them.
Pochettino has now confirmed another setback with the former Leipzig man suffering a hamstring injury in the recent Carabao Cup final.
The Blues head coach added that he could be sidelined for a few weeks, he said: "Nkunku suffered a problem in his hamstring."
"We will see in a few weeks if he can be available. He’s been little bit unlucky because to suffer again is always tough for a player."
Nkunku joined the Blues from Leipzig as a statement signing and many were expecting him to score plenty of goals this term.
However, nothing of that sort has happened thus far. The Blues will be hoping that he will return to the pitch as soon as possible.
