Manchester United scouts were in attendance to watch Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners in action against Juventus yesterday.
The Dutchman is one of the best players in Serie A and he has already registered 12 goals and four assists in the current season.
He scored both goals during the recent trip to Juventus, but it was not sufficient for a victory. The game ended all square in a 2-2 draw.
United were keeping a close eye on the 26-year-old and there is a probably a hint that they could move for his signature this summer.
Koopmeiners has been a key player for the Bergamo outfit, but they are open to allowing his departure for around €60 million.
United are not alone in the pursuit of the Dutchman. Liverpool are also firm admirers of Koopmeiners, who was previously at AZ.
Juventus are also looking at his progress with Atalanta, but they are not in a financially strong position to afford his services this summer.
