Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has praised the quality of midfielder Cole Palmer following the 3-2 Premier League win over Newcastle United.
Palmer has had a fantastic debut season with the Blues. He registered a goal and an assist during the 3-2 victory over the Magpies on Monday night.
Speaking after the game, Pochettino said that Palmer showed his quality on the pitch and he is doing fantastic and getting more mature every day.
He said: "He showed his quality and it's good to have him on the squad and in the team. A player that can link the game. He's doing fantastic and getting more mature every day."
Palmer joined the Blues from Manchester City last summer and he has been a revelation for them with 15 goals and 11 assists in all competitions.
The youngster has made a huge reputation for himself and he should be in line for another recall to the England squad in the coming days.
Chelsea are scheduled to host Leicester City in the FA Cup quarter-final this weekend. Palmer will have a huge role to play against the Foxes.
