Liverpool are ready to make an approach to sign Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners at the end of the season.
The Dutchman has been a key player for Atalanta over the past few years, but he has made the decision to move on this summer.
Koopmeiners recently said that he would welcome a move to the Premier League and it appears the Reds are front-runners.
Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the Reds have been monitoring him closely and would be ready to pay the asking price set.
Atalanta currently want around €60m for the former AZ star, who has registered 12 goals and four assists this season.
Napoli and Juventus are also said to be interested in his signature, but neither of them are expected to meet the price.
Hence, the Reds have a clear path to signing him, but they could still face competition from other Premier League teams.
The likes of Arsenal and Manchester United are also admirers of the Dutchman, who can play anywhere in midfield.
