Portsmouth have been linked with a summer move for Brazilian striker Vagner Love. The forward has spent the last four years in Russia playing for CSKA Moscow, and has long been linked with a move to the Premiership.
It is believed that Vagner Love should now qualify for a work permit as he has regularly appeared enough for Brazil.
The CSKA Moscow forward has been in superb form this year and helped the club to Russian Cup glory this season.
Vagner Love was linked with a move to Middlesbrough in January, but Boro plumped for Brazilian Afonso Alves instead.
Harry Redknapp has been promised a hefty transfer kitty this summer, and a swoop for Vagner Love would be a notable coup for Pompey.
The Brazilian himself is keen to make a move to either Spain or England and a fee of £7 million has been suggested.
