Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher is set for a departure this summer, as Celtic look to replace outgoing shot stopper Joe Hart with the Ireland international. Kelleher has regularly played second fiddle at Anfield, and has reportedly decided to leave in search of regular first-team football and has a price tag of around £15 million.
Newly appointed Liverpool manager Arne Slot has apparently rubber stamped Kelleher's exit and is now ready to sign a new keeper, potentially from his home country of the Netherlands, to replace the Irishman.
Alisson is expected to stay at Liverpool and will play as first choice keeper once more under Slot, leaving a gap for a backup. Last season Alisson had a long spell out with injury, with Kelleher stepping in and performing admirably, helping the Reds to Carabao Cup success.
It is understood that Liverpool want around £20 million to consider a sale, but Celtic are only willing to spend £15 million for the Irish number 1. Kelleher played in last night's 3-0 defeat to Portugal.
