Arsenal and Manchester United have been told to pay €35m to sign Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana this summer.
The Frenchman has made the decision to part ways with the Ligue 1 outfit and he could pursue a new challenge after the European Championship.
Galatasaray have recently joined the race for his services, but they are set to face competition from Arsenal, Man Utd and Paris Saint-Germain.
Fofana is said to have an affection for the Premier League and this could hand an advantage to Arsenal and United in the transfer pursuit.
The Gunners are currently eyeing a replacement for Thomas Partey. They are open to selling him amid interest from multiple Saudi teams.
The same is the case with United. Casemiro had a poor second season with the club and the hierarchy are already contemplating a change.
Fofana would be an ideal replacement for either side. He has a tremendous work rate and has been known for his fantastic recovery runs.
